Hi PPL,

When doing a recording in BDC for a custom transaction , some fields in the screen are not appearing in the transaction while doing the recording through SHDB(BDC).Plz let me know how this problem can be corrected.

Hi,

generally we use BDC for almost all transactions whether it is standard or custom. Also, most of the transactions have Table Controls or Step Loops or Tree Structures and a BDC works for each of these transactions. The only thing u have to check is how to handle these ones in some situations. What code needs to be used so that data can be inserted into SAP.

hi nick,

IN BDC's while ur doing recording some of the screen fields may not be captured..

that dpends upon the screens and the fields in that particular transactions...

so check the filed references in that particular transaction...

Hi Kevin,

I think there is the recording error.Make any changes in the field that you record or atleast click the field that appear on the screen.
