reference feilds reference table

hi experts,

i have created a table which has a field of data type currency so a reference  field  and reference table is also added .then later on i have changed it to data type of float  deleting the reference field and reference table... when i am activating ,it is getting activated but the  reference field and reference table is still in the editable  mode  where as the other elements of data type char etc(except currency ant quanty) is non editable....does it effects my further procedure...why is it happenning so....what should i do now to make it non editable???

hi venkatesh,

Try this ,

once any changes has been done to a table structure we must active and adjust the table . means fallow the below after the changes ,

go to utilities, data base utilities , active and adjust the data base table.

now check.

yes i  have adjusted and activated....my domain is of type FLTP ....but still the reference field and reference table is in editable mode..

HI

Go to the TCODE se14.

There You can adjust Database table...

Check it once and let me know...

hi,

yeah i have done it in se11(through utilities ) and se14 (adjusting).....but still it is same...and it is still in the active mode.

This is standard for currency and quantity fields. It won't affect anything you can simply leave blank if you don't require any references.

Hi You need to  maintain  reference field and tables  for Curr/Quan fields like below

Hi

You defining that data element ( ZTXT1 ) as FLOAT ,

That's y it shows blank in Currency TAB.

If u change it as any other predefined data type then it will display in non editable mode..

just check it once......
