Reeasing the request Number

Hi Guys,

I saved a pgm in "$tmp".I want save it in a package and transport the pgm.

Can anybody tell me how to change the pgm from $tmp to a package.

Go to SE80 and view the program. Then right click on the program name (on the left side) and select Other Functions -> Change Package Assignment.

Go to SE38, enter the program name, from the menu, choose Go To -> Object Directory Entries, in the dialog, click the pencil for change mode, change the package, system will ask you for a transport request.

Open your program

clik on GOTO on your standrad tool bar

next select object directory entry

now click on change button

this sloves your problem you can assign package

Go to SE80.

<b>Select Local objects</b> in the drop down, enter your userid in the box and then click on display.

This will list down all the local objects.

Right click on your program go to More <b>Functions > change assignment</b>

Give the new package name and click save
