Hi,
How NOT to send some fields in some segments in MATMAS05 with IDOC?
Like don't send field PSTAT, VPSTA, MTART from E1MARAM..
What's the best way to do this?
tnx,
Adibo.

Hi,
We have fieldfieltering, segmentfieltering and idoctype filtering
with some transactions like bd56,bd59,bd53.
I am not sure with the transaction codes pls chk it by we/se.
Even we do have filtering concept in BD64(Distribution Model view)

HI,
You can do only two types of filtering.
1). IDOC filtering at distiribution model level. In this case the IDOC will be either sent completely or will not be sent at all depending upon the type of filter. If you want to use this try tcode ( BD95 and BD59)
2). Segment filtering (BD56). In this case you can remove the entire segment from the IDOC which is non mandatory.
In you case you need to remove only few fields of the segment but not the entire segment. You cannot achieve this.
What you can do is CLEAR THE DATA in these fields using the CONVERSION RULES between two systems. ( tcode SALE --> Modelling and implementing business process --> Converitng data between sender and reciever )
Select the fields you want to clear and define the logic in the Conversion rule for the message type.
Hope this helps
Cheers
