You need to use GUI scripting (similar like QTP=Quick Test Professional for SAP of Mercury).

Hi, can you share some ecatt scripts if you have?
I am planning do some enhancements like
1. reading the grid/table contents
2. applying check points
3. how write user defined functions? etc

eCATT provides following pattern to apply check points
1. CHEGUI
2. CHEVAR
3. CHETAB
You can make use of GETTAB pattern for reading the grid/table contents.

Hello Colleague,
You can use GETTAB command in the pattern function of SECATT and specify the table name upon entering the key fields you will be able to retrieve all the values from table specific to that the keys values.
Also if you want to retrieve multiple entries from table then you have to use SELECT statement within ABAP ... ENDABAP command in SECATT.
