RE: ECATT ERROR AFTER READING FIRST RECORD

Hi all,

I created an Ecatt Script for creation of mass users, after executing the Ecatt i uploaded the file, it was only taking the first record (means its creating the first user) and then getting error saying obsolete data

again if i make the 2nd record as first and add few more, its ony taking the 1st record

do i need to specify where is the last record, if yes where can i do that

Please do the recording properly again. There is something you might have missed.

Please check whether or not you have given a unique variant name and description for each row in the variant file.

Best way to create a variant file is to download the ecattdefaultrun (recording values) into .txt file.

Open the file in tab-deliimited feature of Excel and then add rows to the corresponding parameters indicating new variants through unique name and description in the beginning.

Also try using the eCATT debugger to analyze the problem better by placing a breakpoint ...

Hi,

The reason being you have missed out the Varient.

So once you create the script.download the ecatt variant in the configurator ,You need to add the variant number ;Also the description field is adummy field which has to be blank.

Thanks to all of you who suggessted me many ways

I got my issue fixed when i changed the error from " X TERMINATION OF START PROCESS" to " V TERMINATION CONTINUE WITH NEXT VARIANT"
