this program is used to distribute the changes to master data through idocs

This report creates IDocs from the change pointers for the specified message type. It then sends them to the receiving system and flags the change pointers as processed in respect of the specified message type.
The receiving systems for the specified message type are determined from the customer distribution model.

Hi,
This program is used to send idoc when the master data is changed. Since here you are executing this program for DEBMAS message type, any changes in customer master data will be created as an idoc and will be sent to the receiving system. Also note that for enabling chamge pointers go to transaction BD61 , there check the check box 'activate change pointers'. Then go to BD50 and enable change ponters for the message type DEBMAS ie, check the active checkbox of the message type DEBMAS. Tcode BD52 is to specify the fields for which change pointers are to be written. If any of these fields changed then an idoc is generated when you exceute the program RBDMIDOC.

Hi kotireddy nandaloori ,
This program is used to generate master IDoc & N (N>0)communication IDocs
i.e it will take all unprocessed fields from table BDCPS (i.e field PROCESS is BLANK) & will generate master IDoc & communication IDocs using change pointer concept.
cheers!

Hi everyone.
I've several remarks to this thread...
1) If you don't know what a program is doing: There is online documentation. I know it's not perfect but you should have a look. Perhaps before you just try running something.
2) Don't ask for points in your answers. That's not considered good style in the SDN.
3) Don't just copy and past online documentation. If you think the documentation is good: just give a link.
4) If you post something from the documentation or from someone else: Mark it as a quote. Give the source. Would you like someone else copying your answers and presenting them as his work?
5) There are community guidelines. Read them! And act accordingly!
Summary: I will lock the thread, unassign points and have edited some of the replies.
Best regards,
Jan Stallkamp
