WHILE CREATING A TABLE IN SE11 WHEN I GO TO TECHNICAL SETTINGS I CAN HAVE OPTIONS CALLED

  • BUFFERING NOT ALLOWED

*BUFFERING ALLOWED BUT SWITCHED OFF

*BUFFERING ALLOWED

THESE THREE ARE RADIO BUTTONS

BUT IMMEDIATELY AFTER THESE OPTIONS I HAVE

[] SINGLE RECORD BUFFERING

[] GENERIC BUFFERIN

[]FULL BUFFERING

BUT THESE ARE CHECK BOXES

MY PROBLEM EVEN

THOUGH I OPTED FOR

BUFFERING NOT ALLOWED RADIO BUTTON

BUT IAM ABLE TO CHECK ALL CHECK BOXES WHAT EVER I MENTIONED

HOW IS IT POSSIBLE ?

Even though you can select all three types of buffering, SAP doesn't allow you to save. You will get an error message 'Multiple selection not possible for buffering type'.

Hope this answers your question.

Thanks,

Refer to the below SAP help content

Buffering status

The buffering status specifies whether or not a table may be buffered.

- Buffering not allowed if a table may not be buffered.

- Buffering allowed but not activated if buffering is principally allowed for a table, but at the moment no buffering should be active. The buffering type specified in this case is only a suggestion.

- Buffering allowed if the table should be buffered. In this case a buffering type must be specified.

So even though you can select any one of the buffering type checkboxes, system will only consider them when you actually define if Buffering is allowed or not.

Hope this is helpful.

Thanks,

Pavan
