Query regarding BASIC TYPE for vendor master for IDOC triggering

Dear All,

We are in ECC 4.6c. We have a requirement to trigger an IDOC when vendor master is created or changed.

I see the standard BASIC TYPE for vendor master is CREMAS05 , but I could not find CREMAS05 in WE30 transaction.

Can we use CREMAS01 instead of CREMAS05? Is it correct to use CREMAS01 in ECC4.6C?

  • CREMAS02 from 4.5A
  • CREMAS03 from 4.6A
  • CREMAS04 from 6.20
  • CREMAS05 from 7.00  (ECC 6)

Hi Raymond,

Thanks for the Information.

Since my requirement is to trigger IDOC when I create or change vendor master,

Using change pointers ,Is it sufficient if if I activate message type CREMAS and assign  Basic type "CREMAS03"  to message type for creation as well as change?

Do I need to do follow a different process to trigger IDOC for creation of vendor?
