pushbuttons on application toolbar in selection screen

Hi,

I have created 2 pushbuttons in the application tool bar of selection screen using pf-status.But the other icons in the standard toolbar were grayed out because of this.can anyone tell me why this is happening.

you need to define those other elements of the menubar in the PF-STATUS for example for back write -

---

> BACK

for cancel----->CANCEL for save

use these predefined function codes

Hi Hema,

Just copy the standard PF-STATUS and then create your custom button on the tool bar. this will resolve your problem.

Hi Hema,

Once u define PF status for ur screen... its like u are defining ur own screen...

so wat happens is that every thing gets grayed out and u can select the required keys which u want to get displayed...(like back;exit;save e.tc)

This is happened because new pf-status replaced the old pf-status. And all icons in the old Pf-status are not taken care in the new one.

I think better approach would to copy the old one and then add ur buttons.

Good

It has not happen due to your new buttons, sometime due to the memory issue the standard toolbar button display become grey, so no need to worry for this, it will come again as normal after sometime.

Hiii!

The problem is that you haven't mentioned the function keys

go to your pf status , then menu painter , then write

Back , Cancel, Exit under their respective icons. Then activate it. You 'll get their functionality in your program.
