and methods involve in eah project.

4.Roll Out - you have implemented SAP for USA and you want to do it for your plant in UK. The business process is same or similar. So the objects are rolled over rather than creating brand new implementation again.

Role of ABAP'er

In a typical SAP implementation, the Functional consultant, takes the user requirements and configures the system accordingly.The functional consultant specializes in a particular functional area, say SD, MM, Finance, etc. Also, its important for the functional consultant to know the integration points between various modules.

An ABAPer comes into picture for a typical SAP R3 scenario when you need to procure custom Reports, Scripts, Layout sets, code batch upload programs, change std functionality through exits or develop interactive screens. The specifications are usually given by the Functional consultant. Its also helpful for the ABAPer to know the basic functional flow to understand the logic behind the specs and also to test it out on his own.
