Hi,

There is Z transaction code 'ZPSRESULTS' in our system. if u execute this transaction it will give you one report which is generated by report painter.

Now one requiremnt came which is forcing me to change the logic of the program behind this T-code.

Now I tried to get the program name behind this transaction code in following ways.

1. I went to system -> status and found that the program name behind this one is GP44YDB6S6VV9ZOLWF3IPU91OY5. But when I execute this program from se38 it is giving different selection screen than the t-code zpsresults.

Hence I concluded that this is not the program behind this transaction code.

2. I went to se93 and given this transaction code and observed that there is one more transaction code 'START_REPORT' is attached to it. with options

D_SREPOVARI-REPORTTYPE as RE

D_SREPOVARI-EXTDREPORT as KP 01RPSCO_X SARP000003

Using this one also I couldn't able to find the program name behind this.

Now please suggest me how to get the program name behind this transaction.

Please let me know if Iam not clear.

You are looking at a report generated by Report Painter, so you should only change the output by using the Report Painter functionality i.e. do not change the source code of the generated programs... besides, the names of the generated code can change between environments so you can't transport that way (plus changes will get overwritten when report is regenerated). If you do want to see how ZPSRESULTS selects its data, run the report in debug and follow it through... you will set how complex the suite of generated code is. Quite often it is the functional team who loks after changes to these Report Painter reports.
