Hi,

We used Managing By Project dashboard solution. This was a very good reporting tool because everyone in the organisation could log into the intranet and look at these project dashboard.

The dashboard displayed the following high level information: Major Milestones, Risks, Dependencies, Project Start and End date, Project Progress to date, the phase which the project is in e.g Planning, Execution e.t.c., Budget information: Actual, planned, OPEX, CAPEX, MANEX e.t.c

This was also secured because only a project manager could update the dashboard and most of the data was pulled through from a project plan which is stored in central respository of an EPM solution. Very small manual interventionn was required.

Reward points if found helpfull..

Cheers,

Chandra Sekhar.
