Hello,
I try to create a project using BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN. It's a huge project with hundreds of WBS elements and thousands of network operations.
It works fine on the development and quality systems. However, on the productive system I get these error messages:
CJ 021 E WBS element 00126137 does not exist
C/ 088 E Changes for ORDER/OPERATION and methods UPDATE/CREATE Schedule Dispatch not carried out
CJ 036 E Data cannot be saved
'WBS element does not exist' is a bit strange as I am trying to create WBS elements!
Are there relevant system or customizing parameters that could be different on the productive system? Or is there an SAP note I should check?
Thanks in advance
Roland

Hello Roland, While I have not worked with this particular BAPI, such problems do arise sometimes.
Ususlayy the reasons are many.
Maybe you do not have the authorization to the transaction.
Like you said maybe the customising paramaters are different but usually thats not the problem.
The first error you got makes me feel you have some data issues. Check the data again.
If it persists ,then you have to see if someone has done some custmozing the the other systems and has yet to move it to PRD .
Hope this helps.

Hello,
As I mentioned above, our project hierarchy is quite complex and cannot be described in a few words. I'm sure there is another thread where building the hierachy is explained.
best regards

Hi,
We are facing performance problems with this BAPI. It takes long time to create a large projects. Can you share your view on performance improvement and time taken to create your project with no. of WBS & activities.
Thanks
