Hello people!
I'm doing a program using SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1. But the program when send a message an email with a PDF file, in transaction SOST, when I see the message, gives a message number 672, meaning "Wait for communications service"
Anyone knows about this problem???
Thanks in advance,
Denis Nakamoto

Hi Denis,
Check up with your basis if the system is configured to send email with PDF attachements. If the email is visible in SOST but is not send to the inbox means there is a configuration missing.
Either the system is a development box where the email sending is not enabled or some config is missing.
You can check out in SCOT --> Double click on the system id and then click once on the INTERNET buton and see if there is an * in the Address area.
You can also check the OSS notes 152474 - Testing fax and e-mail.
This gives the setps for the required configuration in place.
Cheers
VJ

Hi Denis,
1. This is not an error.
2. The SAP Email settings are designed in such
a way that,
a mail does not go instantaneously.
3. Rather it is sent out
at some pre-defined intervals.
(say 1 hour, 2 hour etc)
4. However, using SCOT we can
choose from menu, and send
the pending mails,immediately.
5. In scot
UTILITIES--> START SEND PROCESS
6. A list window will come
click Ok
7. Then again a new window will come,
which will list out all pending mails.
Then again just select OK.
8. Thats all.
9. U can also take help from your basis team.
regards,
amit m.

hi,
either you can go to SCOT to send mails manually from the queue or use the program "RSCONN01" to do it in program.
