Problem with Table maintenance

Hi friends ,

I have two tables table1 , table 2 with the same settings as given below ,

Delivery class - C

Table maint - Display/Maint allowed

In table maint.

Recording Routine - standard recording routine

The only difference I could notice is that , in table1 all fields are key fields and in table2 one field is not a key field.

But when I use SM30 in PRD system for table maintenance table1 give message 'Client is not modifiable' and 'Add new entries' and 'delete' button is not displayed in the next screen.

But in table2 all the buttons are displayed.

Can anybody help me in solving this problem ? I want 'Add' 'delete' button in the other table also.

Thanks in advance ,

Joby

go to SHDO. give a txn for ex. VA01 and press F5..do input some fields in the sales order and save.

Come out of it and execute and exec VA01--see the difference.

Hi,

i) Perhaps your client has been changed. Check the situation has not changed.

ii) Sometimes new generation of maintenance view is necessary.

iii) Last not least check SAP note 356483 - Customizing: Current settings in the test system
