problem with function module FTP_CONNECT

Hi all,

we have an issue with function module FTP_CONNECT. Since the migration to Linux, the function module is not working.

error:

Attempt to set up connection to 'sys host' failed

Any idea would be a precisous help,

Hi Julien,

Chek if there are any restrictions on the FTP side to open connections from external systems.

I am using a FTP client with this server, which works fine (Same user/pwd that I use in the FM). So I guess connections are open with FTP.

Note: We have to use SFTP to connect to the new server via the ftp client (old server= FTP). Is there any parameters to define in the FM for SFTP?

Ask your Network person to add host.

Check the RCF connection using trasaction sm59 !!!

Also check if standard report RSFTP002 is working fine ? If yes probably you

you must be using SAPFTP to start the server , try using SAPFTPA

SAPFTP is working fine in SM59 and RSFTP002 does'nt (same error)
