Problem with Customer Sales text using BDC

Hi I am new to SAP ABAP.

I wrote a program to enter the customer sales text through XD02 using BDC. Once data is entered when I go into the VA01 to create a sales order and verify the texts for the customer in the header data they are in display mode they are supposed to be in editable mode.

Can you please suggest me what was going wrong. If any body want to look into the program i can mail them.

Hi sri,

???

XD02 is for maintenance of customer data.

VA01 is for creation of sales order. If you refer to a customer in VA01, you get his data in display mode. If you want to be able to change customer sales text in the sales order, the customizing (field status) should allow this.

This is a functional issue.
