problem with authority check

Hi all,

     i got some prblm related to authority check, in activity field it is mentioned " * ", whatt it means. can any one tell ?

AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT ‘Z_TCODE’    “authorization object that we’ve created

      ID ‘ZTCODE’ FIELD ‘ZCOMM’.

      ID ‘ACTVT’ FIELD ‘*′

The asterisk grants full authorization, i.e., all activities, instead of an individual activity.

when user tried to create purchase order

it shows "vendor is not authorized,choose approved vendor"

I'm not an MM expert but it sounds like you need to set something in your vendor master data. See if this discussion on is helpful to you. Alternatively, you might find some expertise for this issue in the community.

What is the error message number you are getting.see the vendor is extended for your purchase organisation.post teh SU53 screen shot here.if settings are correct.
