Problem while running the program in background

hi SDNs,

i have problem while i run report in background. in background, last three columns are not appearing in the report. whereas it showing all columns in foreground.

i have increased the line-size, even then it is giving truncating last some columns.

could you any one pls help me out, what to do ?

Hi Rama,

when you create a Job, you have to say which

Printer you use. Look at the Printerdefinition

for size and line, I think there is the mistake.

In the Background, spool can show only 256 characters in the output. You can do one thing, whenever the program is executed in Background, ( ie SY-BATCH = 'X' ) U can download the output in excel format to some specified path and check that excel.

HI,

while scheduling the job for background in 'PRINT Parameters Dialog' in bottom their is field for report width. Increase that and you will see all columns.

but i am checked the option (changed properties ), but no use yar, even then i am getting same problem.

I said to download using the FM 'GUI_DOWNLOAD' from the program itself.

Hi Prakash,

Download or upload from Presentation server are not possible when program is running in back ground.

Yes I know this is not an efficient way.

I too had the same problem and at last ended up with downloading to excel. I tried lot of options noting worked out.
