Problem while down loading grid outptu into Excel file

Hi

While down loading the gird output into Excel using List ->transport->localfile->spread sheet , the column headings printed, some are mediutexts and some are short texts. observation says that fields printed with short text headings are having lesser field data length than 10 (length of seltext_s).

1) why column headings take different texts while down loading .

2) the real problem is for these columns with short texts

when this report is run in spanish , the spanish translations of short texts are more than 10 , hence got trunctaed to 10char while down loading into excel ( customer saying in complete field names ) .

How this field truncation is avoided for spanish language only in this case of columns taking short texts

Please urgent .. need some ideas from you

it is not truncated, might be present in excel sheet..click and u can find.

or else the problem is with the field lengths specified in the ALV grid. Try to increase the field width in the properties of the ALV grid definition header.
