Problem regarding Distribution Model (BD64)

Hi guys,

I am facing a problem regarding the distribution model (trans: bd64.

I have successfully transfered some Message Types from one Logical System (X client) to another Logical System (Y client).

But when I try to distribute it, it gives me an error saying "communication error occured. partner not reached...host ****** not reached service sapgw00, / cpi-c error cm_produc". Can you please help me to sort out this.

with regards,

sandeep panja.

Hi Sandeep,

It is most likely due to unpropriate configuration of RFC. Go to SM59, double click respective connection (the system you are trying to reach) and chose Test connection. You will see wheter you are able to reach the target system at all. If no, ask your Basis team to establish the connection correctly.

Regards

Marcin

{"communication error occured. partner not reached...host ****** not reached service sapgw00, / cpi-c error cm_produc". }

One thing is sure that you are not able to reach the Destination. Obvious reason RFC Config.

1) Check if the destination is maintained correctly in RFC (SM59)

2) If it looks good do Test Connection, If this gives error then it could not be auth error but other RFC related Issues

3) If Test Connection works fine then do Auth Test which actually tries to log in to destination with credientials specified in SM59, if you get error here then this is System User Credentials Issue.

But case 2 looks to be more probable in your case.

Have Basis Team Fix the Issue.

let me know if it helps. best luck.

Hi shital, thanks immensely for your input. Though my "Connection Test" succeded completely but "Authorisation Test" failed. It gave the following error: ' Password logon no longer possible - too many failed attempts '. Do you have any idea why is it behaving so?

With regards,

Sandeep.

Hi Sandeep,

This error occurs when we give wrong password or username for more than 3 times. If it happens then user-id get locked. Ask the Basis guys to reset the password for destination system and then try to connect throug SM59 by giving correct login credentials.

Hi Vinod,

Thanks for posting your thoughts. I gave the authentic user id and password for the target system. I also crossed checked it if it is locked. But the target system is not locked. It is working fine with the provided user id and password.

With regards,

Sandeep.

Hi

Go to target system and logon with userid and password . Now check table USR02 and field UFLAG.

The value of this field should be 0. If its not then take help from basis team.

Hi,

Check the target system is locked for User-id you maintained in the Rfc destination.

Thanks,

Asit Purbey.
