problem on my package creation

hi i created package with all Technical attributes -- package name , appli comp , etc its telling ur package is created but when i save a program its telling UR PACKAGE CAN NOT B EXTENDED PLZ tel where iam going wrong r guide me step by step i will create , but let me know wats wrong ..

hi,

check in SE80 your package. Tabstrip: Properties. Isn't it created as Main package? Are there any restrictions at Object types?

Hi,

U can Also follow the steps below-->

1>Open SE80

2>In the ComboBox Select Package

3>Enter Your Package Name Below and Press Enter

4>Give Short Text,Application Component(MM,SD etc.),Software Component

5>Select Package Type-->Not A main Package

6>Then Click On Create Icon

7>Create One Request for This

8>Click Ok

9>Package Will be created now.

In SE80 uncheck the option "Package not extendible" for your package.
