hi,

cant understand your query first of all.. sorry.

in the TMG two screens.. you can enter your new entries or you can change your existing entries..

even, you cant change your primary key values in your existing one..

Better post exact issue you have been faced there..

post the error message or something you received while giving entries..

thanks,

Mathan R.

Hi Luke,

You should be able to change and update the value. Can you specify more clearly what the issue is?

It seems like you have created a 2-step screen Table Maintenance Generator and you are not able to change a value. Right?

Hi Luke,

What exactly is the the error message when you try to change the default value?

You can check the domain that you used in the data element of that particular field. If you have listed fixed values in the domain, it may only accept those values.

Robert

Dear All,

I am sorry about that not clearly describle the issues on it.

When i change the ztable value through SM30, some of field can't update the value and always return default value to me. Those are contained domain fixed value field.

I don't have any error message on it, it just return "Data was saved".

hi,

if domain has fixed values in it.. you cant enter any new values apart from it for sure..

try to enter values from the Domain SH( i mean fix values).

whether you can save more than one entries in your table..

if not check for the primary key.. you shauld have atleast one primary key in your table apart from MANDT..

hope this helps,

Thanks,

Hi Luke,

If you set the fixed values in domain. Then you can not enter the data other than those values. just try to enter the values which have been set in the domain level.

your data was saved. you are not getting any error messages right. then what is the problem in it?

Thanks,

Krishnaveni.

Hi Luke,

Have you created the ZTABLE? If not can you check if there are any TMG Events (TMG->Environment->Modification-> Events) that sets this default value?

Hi wong ,

if you know the domain ,

then in se11 , go for that domain ,

you will have a value range tab , where you can see all the possible entries

or

if you don't know the domain

go for display of your ztable , double click on field

on the new tab , the third line will have the domain

double click again on it

go for value range tab.

HI,

go to domain in dictionary, there you can find the tab value range, there you can check the fixed values.

Thanks,
