Problem in transport request

I have made changes in one script and assigned to a TR earlier

it was transported to qa but test failed .

Now I have redone the changes, this time I assigned to new TR.

But when transporting to qa this time there is a conflict with earlier TR.

Is this because of the description or what(The same description given to both TRs)

Pls help.

Regards,

Priya

Hi,

But when transporting to qa this time there is a conflict with earlier TR.

No much to go on here. What was the transport return code, what does the import log say? Without the sort of detail in your question we can only guess what the problem is.

Regards,

Nick

Priya,

Is this because of the description or what(The same description given to both TRs)

TR description has nothing to do with the conflict. Check if some objects are missing. Do ckeck the Transport Logs If status is '0' - Successfully Completed. It's Ok. Paste the Transport Log details

Hi Priya,

Description doesn't matter.

The only main thing is that whether you transport each and every object again or not...

Sometimes it happens we miss some important object in the Transport Request which is useful for the functioning.

Just check your both release transport request and compare manually, if you miss something.

Do one thing always, whenever you are going to release some TR. You make sure that earlier TR related to that must be included in this new TR.

It will not save your time but always helps you a lot.

Thanks.
