problem in template--smartform

Hai.

I placed 2 texts inside the template it is showing one after the other.

But, i need to place 2 texts in the positions 11 and 12 columns...

Can anyone guide me

your help definitely appreciated by points

Hari,

Follow these steps.

Double click on the template and take the tab 'Template'.

Click on the details button

Give a name on the first line. For example 'LINE'.

After this there are two columns (From and Two).

You can enter 1 in the From field and number of lines you needed in the To field.

Height you can 1 or 1.5 Line (LN)

After this you can find columns 1,2,3 etc. Here you can give the width of each column. If you have only two columns, devide the total width (You can find on the top of this tab) into these columns.

Now click on the table painter button to go back.

Click on the text field and select the 'Output Option' tab.

You can find two fields in the output structure section called Line and column.

For the first field give Line = 1 and Column = 1.

Second field Line = 1 and Column = 2.

Have you specified the row and column in the properties (Output options) of the text?
