Problem in Table Views

Hi all,

while maintaining the Table Views using the Maintain button for New entries I got the message

New Entries breaks with the user off with message: Specify the keys within the work AREA.

for some some users we got this problem......... for some users we shouldn't get any error messages.

any suggestions please........

Hi,

WHen you restrict the values in the initial screen ..For key values you cannot enter any other value other than the one you have entered..

Ex..

Go to SM30..Enter the view name..

Check the enter conditions radio button..

THen press maintain..Enter a value there..

Then try to create an entry other than the one you have entered..It will you give you this error.

Please let me know if you have more questions..

If I create a wrong entry

I got the message

" Entry 010 E REWTRT does not exist in UPS_TEILPLAN_T - check your entry"

If some users made right entry they won't got any error message.

for some users made the right entry and try to save the entry in the Table Views then they got the message.

" New Entries breaks with the user off with message: Specify the keys within the work AREA."

How shall I handle this issue?

Hi,

Is it a custom view or a standard sap view..If it is standard sap give me the tcode..I will check it..

How are you adding the values to the custom view..using SM30..Or do you have a tcode for SM30..If you have a tcode what are the values that you used in the screen field when you created the tcode..

using the custom transaction code I am maintaining the table. Transation code : Z_DUEDATES

screen Field

VIEWNAME : ZIV_UPS_DUEDATEV

VIMDYNFLDS-LTD_DTA_AR : X

any suggestions please.........
