Dear Friends,
I have created a package and a function Group in that
package, using SE80.
After that,I went to SE11 And created
a Table Maintenance Generator. When I entered Authorization group ,it asked me to put it in a package But accidently I put it that into Local object.
when i tried to create the Table Maintenance Generator it shows me an
error "The Maintenance is not in a tranpotable package".
how to make my Table Maintenance Generator to put
it into a request.Because it is not asking me again to put it into a request as the system asked before.Pls help me.
With Regards.

Hello Kumaresh
If you created a maintenance view then simply go to SE80, open the context menu for your view and choose "Other Functions" -> "Change Package assignment"

Hi
Go to SE 80 T.code.
Select the package and name as $TMP.
Press enter.
YOu will get all the objects that are stored in the local package.
Select the corresponding object in the menu tree and right click on it. Other functiopns-> object direcory entry.
Change it to your package.
or you can go through se03 also.

Hi kumaresh,
1. simple
2. U must have made a function group
for table maintenance.
3. Open that Function group in se80, in edit mode
4. click and place your cursor on
the function group. (top line in the hierarchy)
5. Right click
6. follow the menu
OTHER FUNCTIONS--->OBJECT DIRECTORY ENTRY
7. A new small window will open up
(the same window which asks for PACKAGE)
8. Just change the package,
and then it will ask for request number
automatically.
