problem in table maintenance generator

Hi

i have created one table maintenance generator for a table in se11.

when i go to SM30 and add values to that table there,

im getting the following message

"NO data maintenance authorization; display only".

but in attributes section of that table inside se11, i have entered as "display maintenance allowed".still im getting tht message.

plz tell me why im getting this message??

delete the table maintinace genrator . and again genrate it than it will come.

What is the Authorization object you used while creating the Table maintenance.

&NC& should be used if you dont want any authorization. you might choosed some thing else..

check it once.

i have given the authorization object ZSD1 and functiongroup ZV00.these are specified in my Technical spec.so i have to use this .

but still i m getting same message

that means you have no authorization ZSD1. that is the reason you are getting the message.

Try with some user which is having the authorization ZSD1.

or else ask you BASIS to provide the authorization.

for the same authorization object and function group ,it is working in sandbox server. but is not working in development box.

why??

Both are different servers. so you can expect the different behaviour.

To confirm the authorization problem, just Run SU53 after executing the SM30 Table maintenance .

and check what is you are getting.

hi,

First delete and create new Table maintenance generator

Use Authorization &nc&

And activate

and go to se14 choose adjust and activate tab.

Hoe u will get the solution
