Problem in table maintenance generator ,

Dear all,

i created table maintenance genarator for one Z table and it contains CREATED ON field as pimary key field . when i am accessing data through SM30 through ENTER RESTRICTIONS. I am checking the CREATED ON field . and when giving the date in selection screen of SM30 it is not showing the records in output but data base table contain the records on that date .plz help points must be rewarded.

Hi,

please check ur table attributes in delivery and maintenance tab check box(in version 4.6c) or drop down list (in version > 4.6c). it should be checked (4.6c) or select 'display/maintenance allowed'. so that u won't get that error.

Check once your table attribute whether you filled all the colums or not.

and again check your table maintainance generator attributes also like

i checked and created the table maintenance generator correctly . when i am accesing the data through sm30 by giving field other than date it is showing data . but when i am selected date field in sm30 selection criteria it is not showing the data and giving message no data selected in date criteria.

Hi,

Have you created the table with two steps? I guess the date or quantity fields don't appear in the first screen, you should try to generate the table maintenance with one step.

i developed the TABLE MAINTENANCE GENERATOR with single step and also tried with two step also . when i am accessing data form TABLE MAINT GENERATOR by giving date in selection criteria . Table maint generator not accessing the data form database even data is their in database . plz give any idea how to access the data form table maintenance generator using date .

Hi Manoj,

I have checked this. I created a Ztable and entered data into it.

In SM30 i tried accessing using restrictions only based on date. Here if u enter the date other than user setting format

then it is saying no entries instead of throwing error saying wrong date format. Select the date from F4 help and check it once again. Also check the data in SE11/SE12/SE16 whether data exist for the given date range.

If u still have problems then delete the table maintenance and recreate it again. This may solve ur problem.

i deleted the table and i created the new table with new one step table maintenance generator even though when i am accessing the data through enter condition radio button by selecting the date field in selection crieteria it is not accesing the data from database even data is availalbe . i am putting the date by pressing the f4 only.
