problem in saving the objects(urgent)

hi experts,

I have saved my objects in one request number.Now i want to save the same object in some other request number how to do that.Please provide the solution.

make changes to the object , and save it , it will ask for request and you can give another request.

se09 - (cursor of your request)- request - object list - include objects

For this u can delete the current transport request in SE09. And if u again save the object it will ask for transport so that u can assign another transport.

Or

Instead of deleting the transport request Delete the object name from transport request and save the object it will ask for transport request.

Delete your object form the current transport request, then when you save your object it will ask for a new transport request.

Hi,

Without releasing the previous req u cant create another Req. Delete it then make changes in the obj an dit will ask for new req.

Hello Ashok

If your objects are workbench objects then they can be locked only in a single transport request.

However, if you want to shuffle objects from one request to another (perhaps they belong together but have been separated into different request by accident) then you can merge the two requests into a single request (transaction SE10): use menu <b>Utilities -> Reorganize -> Merge Request</b>
