Hello Everyone,
We are facing problem in devl client since client copy to processes inbound IDOC. It gets added & ready to be transferred (status 50 & 64) but
does not pass to application & post (status 62 & 53). I have checked SM59 and the logs says "Name or password is incorrect Please re-enter"
for Function Module "WORKFLOW_LOCAL". Our admin guy did reset the password for "WF-BATCH" but still problem occurs. Please advise as
what needs to be done. As I am new to "RFC" issues, you advice on detailed steps to be carried out would be very helpfull. Thanks in advance.

Milan.

Hi Riyas,
Can you provide some more details on this, e.g. Tcode, which option etc, we are using SAP version 4.6C. We did ask our admin to reset the password for WF-BATCH user id but still did not make any difference.

Hi,
Use T-code SM59 for RFC destination , take ABAP connection folder and check which one you are using for the idoc processing.Ensure username/password is working fine there and test the connectivity by clicking the connection test button.

Hi,
In SM59, from the "R/3 Connections" folder, I have verified for the "Host" connection that is used, but
for that one connection is fine. The problem (as reported in SM58 log) seems reported in "Target System" --> "WORKFLOW_LOCAL", the status text shows "Name or password is incorrect Please re-enter"
Is it that in Tcode SWU3, I would need to select "Automatic Customizing" for "Workflow Runtime System" so that it reconfigures RFC (e.g. reset pwd for "WF-BATCH" used by WORKFLOW_LOCAL)?
The problem has been occuring since the recent Client copy.

Hi,
Seems the function WORKFLOW_LOCAL is disturbed. You can use SWU3 for automatic workflow customization.

Thanks a lot for your help Riyaz, what I did was to delete the existing WORKFLOW_LOCAL and
manually created a new one with same parameters (so I can input the new password). Its working now, thanks again.

You should go to transaction SWU3 and execute “Configure RFC Destination” selection which is under “Maintain Runtime Environment”
