Problem in Infotype Creation.

Hi Experts,

I have created a Infotype 9051.

When i try to open it via PA30 it says that No read authorization for Travel and Trip Infotype

Any pointers will be a great deal of help.

hi,

after you create new infotype, hr functional people have to maintain certain views and tables

in order to access that from pa30 transaction.

so check with your functional consultant.

I need certain information from you. This message is coming from the Message class PG, Message number 185. Go in debugging mode using "/h" and run the transaction PA30, next create a watchpoint for Variable = SY-MSGNO

Free Condition Entry = '185'

Once the report stops at the given position, please Report name displayed on the top and give it to me. Else you can also analyze the same. This would help me to know where authorization failed.

Hi Ravi,

I debugged as per your comment. But Which name do you need?

The variable AUM_AUTHC has value R.

AUM_RCODE is 10

RC_NO_AUTH is 10

AUM_SW_SKIP is 0.

Can you make out anything from these values. If not kindly let me know the variable whose value you need.

Hi Jayant,

Am not able to do it for any infotype. Is it a Functional Issue? Also i did the creation of infotype in a development client but when i go for pa30 in my testing client it says there is no such infotype existing. what could be the issue?

Hello,

Configuration values needs to be transported to the client which you are testing for performing any action on that particular infotype. Please check whether you have created Info type the right way.

If you have followed all the steps then please ask a SCC1 of the Transport request to Basis so that you can test it there.

Also, please ask basis team to check your ROLE so that you can maintain Info type entries thru PA30 transaction. May be you are missing some authorizations.
