Hi all,

I am facing a problm in setting up of communication IDOC while sending a material from 1 system to the other . I checked all the configuration settings in setting the RFC, creating ports , and distribution model and so on....

After creating a partner profile and distribute the model i am checking in bd10

it is giving me the status as 1 master idoc has been created and 0 communication idocs has been generated .

Can any one of please suggest me where I am going wrong ?

Hey the error will come when the system is not able to find reciever system. So go to BD64. Distribute it again. also check the connection test using SM59. (RFC Destination).

Hi,

check the below settings for distributing material master data..check if u have done all these steps..

For distributing master data like material master, vendor master, customer master we have standard transaction codes that are provided by sap.

Bd10(send material master)

Bd12(send customer master)

Bd14(send vendor master)

Bd30(bom’s)

The order of Tcodes are:

Bd54 (creating logical systems)

Scc4 (assigning logical systems )

Sm59 (rfc destination)

We81 ( message type)

We30 ( idoc type)

We31 ( segment type)

We82 (linking message type and idoc type)

We21 (creating port)

We20 (partner profiles)

Bd64 (Distribution model)

Bd10 (material master)

Ex: material master.

Message type: matmas.

Idoc type: matmas05.

Thanks for the prompt reply

but I checked every thing but couldnt find any flaw in the configuration settings.

Its still giving me warning that ' specify outbound parameters for message type SYNCH in sender system' . vt does this mean .

In my sender system i' ve given SYNCH and MATMAS as outbound parameters

and reciever system i ve given MATMAS and SYNCH as inbound parameters

please help me in this issue.

Hi,

SYNCH is another message type which u need to specify in outbound parameters tab,no need for it at inbound..make an entry with mesage type SYNCH and basic type as SYNCHRON at sender and save in WE20..

(1) created logical systems for sender and reciever

(2) assigned them to the clients 800 and 000

(3)created RFC in both the side i,e sender and recievers

(4) created a port in we21 on sender system and gave destination which i created to call 000 from 800

(5) generated partner profiles in we 20 on sender system by giving outboud parameters as 'SYNCH' and 'MATMAS' and given port created at sender side nd also basic idoc type as SYNCHRON and MATMAS05

and inbound parameters as MATMAS process code MATM

(6)IN BD64 created a modelview assigned sender and reciever systems

and distributed the model view

(7) if i send any material it is giving me that 0 communcation idocs have created

please let me know if there is any change in these
