Problem adding class type and class while creating a material

Hi,

I have a problem adding the 'classification view details' like class type and class while creating a 'Material' using LSMW.

As of now I am using 'direct batch input' method. There is no structure to map the 'class details' in Material master. I have thought of creating to LSMW s one to create a material without class details and a second LSMW to modify the material to add class details.

Please let me know if there is a better way of doing it. And also let me know if more details are required regarding the problem.

Hello,

We cannot create the Classification data using direct input method.

To create he classification details we need to use BAPI FMs

BAPI_OBJCL_GETCLASSES

BAPI_OBJCL_CHANGE

BAPI_OBJCL_CREATE
