Printing Barcode DataMatrix ECC 200

Hi,

I tried to create a new barcode format by transaction SE73 to print DataMatrix Code ECC 200 (some 2D or 3D barcode).

Barcodes of the "New Technology" family just support the following barcode types:

Code 39

Code 128

Interleaved 2 of 5

PDF 417

Code 93.

SAP OSS mate informed me, that "in principal" all barcode types are supported by SAP R/3 by creating some printcontrol specified barcode type. As far as the printer would support this printcontrols.

As most of the printers don't support this without an expensive upgrade by hardware DIMM or SIMM, this wouldn't be a helpfull solution for us.

Is there any chance to get a DataMatrix Code printed by another procedure?
