hello all,

i need to print around 50 columns of output of a simple report program,on a B3 paper.for that iam going to SPAD tr. and setting my printer in output devices...in that iam assigining PAGE FORMAT(by going to tab paper tray info) created by myself. I have also created a FORMAT( a z format)

in which i have assigned the page formate created by me.

when iam giving the option as print it is giving an error message that " PAGE FORMATE NO ASSIGNED TO THE OUTPUT DEVICE".

do help me in solving this problem...also give me info on how to fix the no.of lines and columns while creating a page format.points will be rewarded.

Hi,

First get the device type of the printer which you wish to use. SPAD-->Output devices>Double click on your printer. Note down the device type from the first line. Now attch the format to this device type. SPAD>Full Administration->Device Types.-->Double click on your device type found in step 1.>Click on Formats>Click on Change ( Pencil Icon )>Click on Create Icon->It will ask for the format--->Give your Z format.

I hope this helps,
