presitence classes

hey experts, i am using SAP 4.6c n i am havin some problem while creating a persistent class in se24 . i hav selected a database structure and mapped its fields in my persistent class but wen i am trying to save it , it gives a message-

access to attribute failed - unexpected error

n while syntax checking it gives the message-

class CS_AP_PER_OBJ DOES NOT EXIST

if u cant understand this then plz tel me the procedure to create a persistent class
