PRELIMINARY_POSTING_FB01 error: Company code is not defined

Hello Experts,

We are using FM PRELIMINARY_POSTING_FB01 to create parked documents but when we view the created documents via FBV3, the error 'Company code is not defined' Message no. F5165 is shown and the transaction exits. We double checked our entries that we pass in the FM and I'm pretty sure that we are passing the company code value in BKPF, BSEG and BSEC.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would think that this is pretty obvious....Company code is not defined would indicate to me that I've either not entered the company code (less likely) or I have entered an INVALID company code for this instance and client (more likely, I think).

"pretty sure" in your post would seen to indicate that you either haven't checked or really don't know if you're handling the company code correctly....

Hi,

Please check whether the document posted in fb01 were you selected Relevant company code against your chart of accounts.

Hi , i am also facing the same problem, did u find solution for it? if you know the solution please share with us, this problem comes only when we try park more than 999 line items

FI document can only accept max of 999 line items.
