Hello Experts,

I have been analyzing the requirements for installing SAP IDES ECC 6.0 in a laptop..!

I need the system requirements for installing SAP IDES ECC 6.0 for learning purpose..!

As you all know, all the new laptops comes with Windows7, i3 processors now..! So, I need your suggestions on the following:

Hardware:

Intel i3-350M processor (2.26 GHz, 4 Threads, 3M Cache)

500 GB Harddisk

4 GB RAM

Please let me know what are all the Operating systems i need..! Is Windows 7 (64 bit) for front end and Windows 2003 for backend is enough???

If possible, please let me know the laptop brands available in Market in India which supports SAP IDES ECC 6.0.

Because, some experts say, with i3 processors, we cannot install Windows 2003 or Windows XP..!

So, I need your suggestions..!

Best Regards,

Suresh

Am afraid this is not the right forum for this. Please post it in Trials, Previews & Other Downloads forum.

As for your question, you can install a virtual machine for the secondary OS (Eg. VMWARE) and install SAP in that. That's what i did in my Windows 7 laptop.
