PR to PO default document type

Hi All,

I am trying to default document type when PR is converted to PO using MD04. I noticed that it is taking the document type from table T161A. I've to force the program to pick BSART from T161W using some logic. I tried to modify BSART in various user exits.

However the EKKO structure is passed by value in all these user exits and hence it is not getting affected.

Is there any other way to modify the system deafulted BSART value and use my logic? Should I make any configuration changes in SPRO? So far the settings look okay.

Did you try ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST BADI? There is a process_header method that should work. Look at the documentation. It is very good.
