The posting period is open for Oct & Nov ... & I have checked it up in OB52 ... still when I create a doc thru FB01... it gives an error message "Posting period is not open for the period 011" ... why is this message coming ... is there any other place where setting for the posting period needs to be changed??

Hi

No! It's only one, try to run the fm FI_PERIOD_CHECK.

Are you sure the period is open for all type of account?

Are you sure posting period 11 is for November? If your fiscal year doesn't start on Jan 1st, the posting period will likely be something else.
