Hi ,
I am getting the below error when i try to generate the Partner profile .
"
Port could not be created
PR3CLNT400 PR3CLNT400
RFC destination PR3CLNT400 not specified for system PR3CLNT400
Enter the RFC destination and restart the generation "
Could you please let me know the reason .
I have done the same setup for Quality server sucessfully . when i try to do it the same for Production , its giving me program .

have u entered the rfc destination name correctly while creating the port.
If yes check tcode SM59 whether the destination which u entered is correct or not. because rfc destination is case sensitive.
If not create a rfc destination & create the port.

No Raj , i have cross checked the RFC destination and RFC name is in CAPS ..
I think that is not the reason . Can you guess if is there any other reason which causes the error ?

check whether the ip address or host name (PR3CLNT400)
is correct in rfc destination.

When i do Connection test .. Its happending correctly ..
Still is there any problem with Host or IP address??

ok when creating port in WE21 did it throw any error.
u have to create tRFC port did u specified the destination correctly (case sensitive)

No .. I am working through BD64 tcode .. After creation of Model view and generating the Partner profile for the Model . At that time the above mentioned error is triggering ..

Path: Go to transaction SALE -> Sending and Receiving Systems -> Logical Systems -> Define Logical System
I always generate the partner profile manually (via WE20) and always work fine. Sometimes I face an issue when try to generate froom BD64 and the error does not make sense (though happened). Give it try ...
