Po change error

Dear All,

While I making some changes in the Purchase Order .

I am getting this error  message  :

--> "Processing state 01(Version in Process) does not allow processing of

          DocHeader  "

-->  "PO header data still faulty" 

I have checked it it is somewhat related to the version management.

I have again tried to change the PO  also tick mark the version indicator and entered the reason and when  I am trying to save the PO

still getting the same error , I am unable to save the PO .

Dear Gurus please suggest some ideas .

Hi Deep,

Yes this is due to they configured version management. So it triggers an error. whenever you modify, it will displays details in PO header version tab.

Kindly contact with your sap mm functional consultant to change in version management.

IN PO Level:

Kindly note : version is activated in po document

Go to ME22N OR ME23N, Select the line item and click on top of title bar ENvironment and Slection the 'item changes'.

Now you will see the change what you had made in item level.

Check For Configuration level Settings:

check in version management purchasing document details - reason for field selection - i.e, required entry, optional entry

Version Management purchasing document

Control Data:

Version active - ( disable the tick if it is in active - if you want to work with no version mangement in po document)

Verison 0 OK - (or change to mark 1 )

and then it will resolve.
