Hi Friends,

I have enhnced 4 custom fields(Columns) in CAT2 tx-code. Can you please help me where i have to write the code to save the

data in database.

Use Customer exit (and CI append CI_CATSDB) of Enhancement [CATS0005|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/advancedsearch?query=cats0005] (SMOD/CMOD) for customer fields

- Look also at [CATS0002|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/advancedsearch?query=cats0002] for default/supplementary fields,

- Look also at [CATS0003|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/advancedsearch?query=cats0003] for customer checks

- Look also at [CATS0009|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/advancedsearch?query=cats0009] for customer text fields

Hi Raymond,

I am trying to keep break porint in EXIT_SAPLCATS_005 and EXIT_SAPLCATS_008. But its not triggering in cat2 transaction.

Could you please advice me what are the steps that i need to followed.

First create an enhancement project with transaction CMOD, add the enhancement in it and activate the project, only then will the customer-exit be called.

- Read some documentation on [Customer Exits|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/c8/1975a043b111d1896f0000e8322d00/frameset.htm] like [Customer Exits (CMOD)|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ABAP/CustomerExits%28CMOD%29]

- Read the enhancement documentation in transaction SMOD before starting debug, or read online documentation like [SAP Enhancements and Business Add-Ins|http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_02/helpdata/en/bd/53fa2fcc43594dbf9f406c18989a47/frameset.htm] in [Technical Background Information of the Time Sheet|http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_02/helpdata/en/bd/53fa2fcc43594dbf9f406c18989a47/frameset.htm]

You must read the Enhancement documentation, cause you may be required to perform some Customizing. (SPRO, Cross-Application Components, Time Sheet, Settings for All User Interfaces, Customer-Specific Modifications)

Hi Raymonds,

I have read the document which u had sent me and i had kept the break points in CATS0001 to CATS0009 and i ran the Cat2 transaction. Still break point is not triggering. Please suggest me what needs be done.

Did you actually input some duration, many exits will only be triggered when there is a quantity and or a change on the line.

PS: Don't forget to activate the project created in CMOD that includes those Enhancement !
