Hi
I am not sure whether if I can post this message in this forum......Please guide me if I posted in a wrong place.
PK01 is the transaction used to create control cycle. Again there are two categories in this.
1.Classic KANBAN.
2.Event driven KANBAN.
Anybody could you please expalin what is meant by control cycle and its creation. Similarly the menaings of classic KANBAN and Event driven KANBAN.

Hi Ravindra,
to give a shorter, but simplified explanation:
First, you have to define a control cycle between the place where you have the material and the place where you need it. Then, you define Kanbans that 'go around' on that control cycle.
Now, it is easier to answer your question
1. Classic Kanban: The number of Kanbans is fixed (in the control cycle)
2. Event driven Kanban: You create a new Kanban every time you need one, i.e. the number of Kanban is not fixed (at the point in time when creating the control cycle).
That's not all to it - sure - but perhaps enough to choose the category.
