Payment terms in BAPI

Hi im trying to change customer data using the BAPI BAPI_CUSTOMER_CHANGEFROMDATA1.

I manage to change all the fields except the payment terms field.

Whay is it hapenning?

May be for payment terms there might be a configuration according to which if this field(need to check which field) is filled then the payment terms should always be this one...Just check manually by chaning the payment terms. If working then the BAPI will also work..

There's no such configuration setting.

It can be changed manually using the transaction xd02 but the bapi just wont do it.
