partner profile not needed

Is it true that partner profile settings are not needed in inbound if it is not a customised inbound process.

If the inbound process is FILE Interface then you dont need a partner profile..

But if it is an ALE / EDI Interface, u definitely need a partner profile.

Hi ,

u also need the partner profile for inbound..Where u will give the process code and message type in the inbound parameters......
