Enhancement category for table missing

Enhancement category for include or subtype missing

Append Structure is partly active. Giving error as above.What to do??

If you have any custom field or data element or append structure then activate every thing and then activate the table.

These are Warnings if I am not wrong. Just avoid them in that case and activate the table.

Hi,

1) Goto SE11 open the table and use the menu option Extras->Enhancement Category.

Read the help for Enhancement category. for more details.

2) Go to SE11 open the included strucuture and perform the same action.

3) Go to SE11 open the table and use the menu option Go to->Append Structure and activate the structure that is mentioned there.

Hi,

That depends on the table and the structure.

If you think you structure can be enhanced later with CHAR TYPE or NUMBER TYPE fileds then you have option can be enhanced with char or can be enhaced with number or both etc.

This is only an indication for the future. This setting is not enforced. I mean if you select cannot be enhanced then ideally in future nobody should enhance this structure or table. But the system will not enforce this its only a suggestion.

If you are not sure then for now you can select cannot be enhanced.

hi,

after creating the table go to Extras and select Enhasment catagiry it will give one popup window there u need to select the radio button according to ur requirement .

and after activate u r table ..

Hi,

What I think you already maintained the enhancement category still it is showing partly active.

While activating the object if the option of ' Activate anyway' is available, then try to use that , that

might will solve your problem.

The enhancement category of table and append structure should be of same kind. You match the both, there wont be any error in activating.

in enhancement category probably you choose

can be enhanced character type or numeric why because

if you are working on unicode system than if you specify other than this it will not allow you to specify the offset/length in program.

and (can't be enhanced is not recommended)
