outbound interface documents

does someone has a good documentation about out bound interface?

I have to create one interface to transfer some files from SAP to legacy and I have to use NAST table in this. I have never wored on interfaces before so any help will be appriciable.

Saritha-

What is your exact requirement?

You can send data to legacy several ways.

1. If it is a IDoc info send an IDoc direclty.

2. If it is a file, you can save the file on app server and have a umix polling script take care of sending file to target system

3. You can directly send file to target system via FTP from SAP directly.

i hav to transfer files tht will generate from SO and PO and I have to send them via FTP ... help me in this step by step if you can
